Welcome to ScoopStays. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ScoopStays website and any booking you make through us. By using the site or booking a stay, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are
ScoopStays curates and manages short-term rental stays across Pakistan. Some properties are owned by us and some are co-hosted on behalf of independent property owners. In every case, ScoopStays acts as the guest-facing point of contact for bookings, communication, and support.
2. Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to book a stay.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your name, contact details, and travel dates.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
3. Bookings & confirmation
A booking request is confirmed only after ScoopStays sends a written confirmation (via email or WhatsApp). Prices, availability, and property details are subject to change until confirmation. If a property becomes unavailable after payment, we will offer a comparable alternative or issue a full refund.
4. Payments
Rates are quoted in PKR unless stated otherwise and may include a service fee, cleaning fee, and applicable taxes. Payment terms are shown at the time of booking. Chargebacks or disputed payments must be raised with ScoopStays first before contacting your bank.
5. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations, refunds, and rescheduling are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy. Please read it before booking.
6. House rules & guest conduct
Every guest is expected to follow the property-level rules and the ScoopStays House Rules. Serious breaches (illegal activity, damage, harassment of neighbors, unregistered occupants, or events without approval) may result in early check-out without refund and additional charges.
7. Property condition & liability
- Photos, floor plans, and amenity lists are provided in good faith and are as accurate as reasonably possible.
- Minor variations in décor, appliances, or view do not entitle guests to a refund.
- Guests are liable for damage caused by them or members of their party during the stay.
- ScoopStays is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your stay, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Force majeure
If a stay cannot proceed due to events beyond reasonable control (natural disasters, government restrictions, prolonged utility failures, civil unrest), ScoopStays will work with you in good faith to reschedule or refund.
9. Reviews
Only guests with a completed stay may submit a review. Reviews are moderated for safety, privacy, and abuse. See our Privacy Policy for how your name and content are used.
10. Intellectual property
All content on the ScoopStays site — including photos, descriptions, branding, and design — is owned by ScoopStays or its licensors. You may not reproduce it for commercial use without written permission.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change accordingly. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Pakistan.
